PRODUCT MANAGER: broad exposure role to manage extensive portfolio of Kwikset products

In this highly visible role you'll acquire broad exposure to virtually all facets of our organization and enjoy a degree of autonomy as you drive the performance of your "own" P&L. You'll manage our opening pricepoint product line, our most extensive portfolio of Kwikset handlesets, knobs, levers, deadbolts, and specialty products -- the most successful brand with the largest market share. While marketing or product management experience is a plus, this position offers you the opportunity to leverage your solid sales experience and transition into marketing.

You will drive new product introductions, although your main objective will be to maintain and grow the market share, revenue, and profitability of your portfolio. This will include supporting and influencing the development of short, medium and long term product plans, leading and supporting cross-functional development teams, driving portfolio improvement plans to achieve financial objectives, and owning, driving, and influencing the financial performance of individual product portfolios.

To be a good fit for this opportunity, you'll have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of either four years of sales or one year of marketing experience, with proven success. A background in consumer products manufacturing and/or distribution is preferred but not required. We're looking for a professional with demonstrated success in managing both the strategic big picture and the tactical details. You'll also need solid leadership skills, including the ability to collaborate with, motivate, and influence people throughout Kwikset as well as our B2B customers.
