General Description:
This position will predominantly serve the needs of Regional Marketing to ensure prompt turnaround time of both high-quality original and refreshed designs. Produce marketing communications for both print and online media that supports eBusiness, direct response campaigns, brand advertising, product publications, events and sales collateral. Will include both print and multimedia design and conceptualization skills. Help establish and maintain a professional, corporate identity that communicates PDLs core competencies. Reports to the Media Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
'X Propose and develop engaging design solutions that ensure appropriate market positioning and provide a consistent, branded look
'X Will create/update customizable templates and post them to the Intranet for Regional Marketing and Field Sales use.
'X Interface with the web master and lead designer to meet the creative services need of Regional Marketing and other internal clients (as necessary and appropriate)
'X Interface with vendors to communicate design, content and reproduction requirements.
'X Maintain proficiency in Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver, Director, Microsoft Office, and QuarkXPress.
'X Maintain baseline knowledge of current eBusiness development methods including but not limited to Flash, XHTML, and CSS/Stylesheets.
'X Help establish/maintain corporate branding identity.

'X Bachelors degree desired or equivalent work experience to ensure capabilities
'X High quality 'concept mentality that translates into visually stunning designs
'X Strong skills in Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver, Director, Microsoft Office, and QuarkXPress
'X Web design skills highly desired including but not limited to Flash, XHTML, CSS/Stylesheets
'X Cross platform (Mac and PC)
'X Strong attention to detail. Passionate for quality.
'X Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
'X Self-directed; results-oriented; desire to learn and take initiative.
'X Strong interpersonal skills.
