Planning Analyst
Team One, a fully integrated full-service marketing agency and unit of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, is looking for a Planning Analyst for its Interactive and Relationship Marketing group. This position will provide analytical and strategic support by preparing relevant quantitative analysis and benchmarking to meet both strategic and tactical marketing needs. They will work closely with strategists, client services and tracking vendors, as well as utilizing a number of secondary research sources. Key functions will include:
Develop and maintain departmental reports that display marketing results, demonstrate trends, and convert tracking data into insightful, actionable recommendations. Disseminate interim performance tracking information updates to the team on a regular basis (e.g. website usage,campaign results), as well as additional requests that may come up. Perform post-campaign analysis of relationship marketing, online advertising, and interactive campaigns. Report on ROI and Identify key learnings and develop recommendations for future marketing efforts working with agency strategists.Put data and information into a manageable, digestible format for the agency teams and clients. Summarize and highlight the latest relevant secondary research to keep the Team up to date on the latest industry trends and discipline best practices. Support primary research projects designed to answer questions specific to an area or discipline.Assist with the generation of strategic POVs and recommendations based on research (primary and/or secondary).
Candidate should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience measuring results in online and direct marketing, with a solid understanding of the metrics utilized in this space. Experience doing this type of analysis at another agency or research company is desirable; automotive industry experience also desirable but not required. Candidate should also be proficient with computer software including MS Office, as well as with the latest data-mining tools for using, dissecting and organizing quantitative data. Other key qualities for this position will be analytical, hardworking, creative, curious and interested in people and ideas. This position requires working collaboratively with many individuals, and must be comfortable with and capable of working with minimal direct supervision.
