Pre-Press Contractor

Our client, an in-house design and production studio, has the need for a Pre-press freelancer to work onsite for a two month contract.

This is not a design job and requires no design skills.
Qualified candidate will be working on various print projects including letters, invitations, direct mail, signage, flyers, billboards, banners.

Must have at least 2 years of experience releasing projects for press.

You're qualified for this position if you:

-Know and recognize the difference between CMYK vs. RGB

-Spend your time clarifying resolutions and project sizing

-Have been working consistently in InDesign for at least a year

-Have at least 2 years of pre-press experience

The volume of daily work varies. You must be able to work on and release 5-8 jobs per day to press, each job varying in size from 1-2 pages or up to 20-25 pages.

Large, busy, in-house agency environment for corporate retailer.

 

Other Requirements:

 

Immediate availability is required. Must be able to start the job without having to give notice.
Client will be interested in interviewing in person.
