Presentation Specialist
Job Description: PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Presentation Specialist is responsible for the, production, quality and timely delivery of Sales, Client, and Consultant kits within strategies and/or product lines; which require a strong knowledge of reporting requirements for these strategies and clients. Provides materials requested by Business Units and validates relevancy and cohesiveness of final materials through a thorough quality review process. The incumbent uses multiple data and content systems for gathering inputs to the materials being produced. This position uses in-depth knowledge of business unit requirements and trends across multiple business lines to compile inputs for the production of marketing materials in a timely and accurate fashion. The incumbent uses internal networks and product knowledge to ensure quality, accuracy and cohesiveness of kits.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversees, prepares, quality assures and delivers accurate marketing materials by agreed upon deadlines. Responsible for the creation of kits utilizing a variety of software applications on the MAC and PC, including creation of customized components, updating of standard components, provisioning client specific data and statistics, adherence to quality standards and prioritization of day to day tasks in order to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality. Deliverables include daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly client, sales and consultant kits, Monthly and quarterly flash reports and quarterly commentary, and ad hoc requests for custom kits, handout materials, executive presentations and other marketing or communications materials for individuals across the firm.
2. Produces and reviews marketing materials and data for accuracy. Compiles kits by updating and creating exhibits from raw data provided by ''the data supply chain'' (graphs, charts, etc.), provision data directly from internal systems, and/or use templates to update required information or refresh existing data.
3. Ensures accuracy, quality and integrity of end product and adherence to regulatory and product-appropriate guidelines. Performs in-depth quality control review of data and content for relevance and consistency (ensure the kit ?hangs together?). Quality review includes an individual or ?self-review? as well as a review with a partner to ensure compliance with style standards, regulatory environment, data and content accuracy and validation of customer requirements.
4. Processes requests from internal customers and works directly with the Account Executives to clarify kit requests and to ensure that customer requirements are met within the guidelines of the department.
5. Escalates issues & questions to Senior Presentation Specialist or Supervisor to help manage risk of not meeting daily deliverables; prioritize work (competing priorities, last minute, ad hoc requests) and deadlines and communicate issues, questions, status of work in progress to ''key stakeholders'' (managers, team members, supply-chain); Identify and implement process enhancements geared towards greater efficiency.
6. Adheres to workflow and file retention process to ensure accurate recordkeeping of document change process and archiving of electronic files in accordance with department and market regulations.

Technical aptitude (intermediate/advanced level) for systems/software applications (Quark, PowerPoint, Illustrator, Access, Excel, Business Objects, etc.)

Calm under pressure of stringent deadlines and unpredictable work volumes
High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year related work experience, or college degree preferred
