Print Procurement

Well-respected and fast-paced Direct Response agency, seeks a highly motivated and dedicated Print Production Manager.

Primary Responsibility
? Manage print production and packouts for client projects: specifications, schedules, pricing, manufacture and data management for a company specializing in retail merchandising. Solid experience with all print methods and outside sourcing is required. This is not a supervisory position.

Package Development
? Work with Creative and Client Services staff to develop viable projects within client budgets and deadlines.

Production Management
? Manage production of projects from conception to completion, including billing, purchase orders and reconciliation
? Approve artwork separations, print proofs and data quality-control pulls
? Perform in-state and out-of-state press checks ? Must be willing to travel
? Act as a liaison between Account Managers and print vendors

Vendor Management
? Establish new vendor relationships and manage current vendor relationships
? Negotiate pricing and schedules with vendors
? Ensure quality-control procedures are followed

Research and Information Sharing
? Research new technologies in print industry

Requirements
? Minimum of 3-5 years? print purchasing experience
? Knowledge of entire print process in various applications: silkscreen, lithography, flexography, digital, stochastic, traditional, etc.
? Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to make sound decisions quickly and independently
? Team player and good communicator
