Product Development Assistant

Assist the Mkt. Mgr. in all areas of Prod. Development.  Provide input on design direction, color pallets and merchandising of in-line and cust. products.  Develop specification sheets for product and communicating with overseas factories regarding product.  Creating color cards, color boards for cust. mtgs..  Assisting in preparing samples for cust. mtgs..  Assist with Competitive shopping, including documenting sizes and retails.  Resp. for monitoring new sample requests.  Ideal candidate must also be willing to perform basic assistant duties for all areas of the marketing department, be detail oriented, and work well with others. 

 

Requirements:

.  1-2 years experience in a assistant position or a degree in Marketing

or Textile related field.

.  Bachelors Degree required.

.  Must have good fashion sense, strong communication skills and have

the desire to enter the field of home textiles.

.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

.  Must have working knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop and Adobe

Illustrator.
