Job Description: Assistant Product Manager - BioProcess Division

Millipore is a leader in providing products and services to the biopharmaceutical industry. By 2010, Millipore we intend to be recognized as the leading global bioprocess and bioscience products and services company. We are looking for a highly-motivated and talented Assistant Product Manager to join our BioProcess Product Management and Marketing team. The position is based at our worldwide headquarters in Billerica, Massachusetts in the USA.

You will work within our Core Filtration Product Management group to provide support across product lifecycle activities, with specific responsibility for systems, processes and communications. This includes supporting tactical marketing plans ensuring short and long-term sales and profits for assigned products or product lines.

o Customer Needs Surveys and Analysis
o Documentation and Product File Management
o Customer Notifications
o New Product Catalogue and Part Numbers
o Marketing Communications Support
o Sales Collateral and Support Materials
o Product and Customer Training
o Competitive Analysis and Benchmarking

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
? Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Science or Business.
? The required skills, knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of 1-3 years sales and/or marketing environment.
? Prior work experience/internship in the biotechnology industry helpful.
? Competent analytical and organizational skills.
? Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment
? Experience with project teams and project management preferred.
? Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
? Demonstrated ability to achieve deliverable results.
? Familiarity with biotechnology, biological processing and regulatory requirements preferred.
