Elsevier has an exciting new opportunity for a PRODUCT MANAGER FOR WEB PRODUCTS to work within our Cambridge-based Marketing & End Users team.

The Product Manager plays a key role in the development of products and services targeted at individual scientists. These products and services will be developed to meet the needs of individual researchers, developers and teachers. Your main responsibility will be to identify added value for this target audience and to use this to ensure the development of revenue-generating propositions. You?ll coordinate and use market research in this role, as well as interact with customers frequently and conduct usability testing.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

*Identify added value within the target audience: individual scientists;
*Translate market research and interaction with customers into new product and service specifications;
*Initiate and manage product development;
*Ensure successful commercial roll out in cooperation with marketing colleagues.

Qualifications:

*3-5 years experience in the development of end-user focused web products
*Entrepreneurial skills and experience in starting up new initiatives
*Thorough understanding of the scientific community
*Demonstrated organizational and project management skills?with the ability to multi-task and organize your own workload including balancing priorities
*A Bachelor?s degree is required.
