Product Manager for New Products

Using the unique 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN) found on vehicle dashboards and title documents, we instantly generate a detailed Vehicle History Report on any used car or light truck. CARFAX Vehicle History Reports? provide information that can impact a consumer's decision about a used car or truck and is relied on by millions of people each year. Our unique database contains more than four billion records. We receive information from thousands of public and private sources including all Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMVs) in the United States and Canada, as well as many vehicle inspection stations, auto auctions, fleet management and rental agencies, automobile manufacturers, and fire and police departments.


Day-to-Day Role & Responsibilities

The Research & Development Product Manager is a key member of the product management team and will be focused on bringing new products to market. This role will own the product life cycle, which includes:

? Products / features definition and business case development
? Product concept testing ? field testing, quantitative & qualitative market research
? Test design and analysis
? Implementation, in partnership with the Project Management team which includes leading the look & feel and user experience of the product
? Internal and external communication coordination, in partnership with other Marketing team members, Customer Support & Sales teams
? Product roll-out & monitoring
? On-going product & features enhancements
? Support price, promotion, & purchase process optimization activities
? On-going relationship management with external providers and working with business development as needed on new partnership development.REQUIREMENTSDesired skills and Experience


? Highly motivated individual who is capable of self-directed analysis based on business trends and judgment.
? Strong research, analytical and organizational skills
? Proven success in the testing and launching of new products/businesses
? Familiarity with the marketing research process
? Excellent strategy and analytics background
? Ability to do metrics analyses
? Strong oral & written communication skills
? Familiarity with CARFAX and/or the automotive industry a plus
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent required
