Responsible for directing the development of company market requirements for specific therapy product(s) or product line(s). Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the market place. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Responsible for managing the entire marketing mix.. Interfaces with product planning, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Acts as a technical advisor for specific product(s) assigned.
Manages the company's human resources: recruits talent to the organization, provides direction to staff, evaluates performance, assists with career development, coaches and mentors.
Establishes, interprets, and executes policies in a major segment of the company.
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI and EEO/AAP regulations).
Provides general direction to managers, exempt specialists and non-exempt support in various areas, groups an/or operations.
Coordinates across functional areas, business units, and/or geographies in order to achieve company or area goals.
Mediates between individuals and groups to resolve conflicts and achieve consensus.
Identifies and evaluates fundamental problems for functional areas through assessment of intangible variables.
Monitors business indicators and industry trends in order to proactively address business issues or opportunities.
Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, outside regulatory agencies, customers, vendors and/or suppliers.
Directs and controls the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups and/or operations.
Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
