Product Marketing Manager ? Competitive Lead

EqualLogic is looking for a talented, enthusiastic Product Marketing Manager to join the Product Marketing team to serve as Marketing Manager specifically focused on running EqualLogic?s Competitive Program Office.  In this role, you will be primarily responsible for leading EqualLogic competitive efforts to support EqualLogic sales and channel partners.  You will also assist in marketing and positioning EqualLogic?s product line and also help manage marketing programs within our sales force and technology partners. You?ll have the opportunity to manage and execute a variety of strategic and technical projects including joint sales tools, competitive analysis, case studies, seminars, white papers, speaking opportunities and more in an exciting team-oriented environment.

This person must be a motivated, creative, self-starter and have 3-5 years of technology product marketing experience (storage experience preferred), excellent project management abilities and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Running EqualLogic?s Competitive Program OfficeCompetitive analysis and supporting documentationIdentifying key technology partnerships and executing marketing programs with these partners through the EqualLogic field sales organization Storage market analysis in support strategy developmentCreation of competitive material for EqualLogic storage product linesBusiness analysis, pricing, familiarity with contract languageCreating and delivering presentations to audiences large and small (5-200 people)Project managing field events including, seminars, training, and joint selling programs with other companies

 

Requirements: 3-5 years experience in product marketing; high tech and start-up experience a plusData storage industry knowledgeProven market analysis experienceExcellent leadership, communications and presentation skills Excellent writing and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives at once and deliver on deadline and on budget Ability to work independently in a very dynamic environmentAbility to work with sales executives in the fieldAbility to manage external partner relationships Travel required
