Product Marketing Manager - Branded Web Search

We are seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager for our Public/Consumer facing web search services to join our team in Vienna, VA!

 

The qualified candidate will drive growth of existing ad revenue-based search engine business, www.govmine.com, by improving user experience:

 

? Analyze gap between existing product and the market needs using multiple sources, such as market research and user data, and promote development and enhancements of product features and functions.

? Work closely with partners, such as ad service network and content providers.

 

Launch new ad revenue-based Web search service:

 

? Analyze Internal and external needs using methods, such as SWOT, competitive analysis, and primary and secondary market research.

? Suggest and effectively lead internal and external development, production, and design resources toward delivery.

? Formulate launch strategy and promotional plan, and execute on the plans.

? Identify potential partners and find means to produce relationships.

? Define, measure, summarize, forecast, and report key findings from the analytics.

? Participate in ongoing evaluations of market segments, and new opportunities.

 

Requires a Bachelor?s degree or working equivalent and a minimum of four years? product marketing and/or business development experience.  A track record of strong orientation toward customer experience, community building, content quality, and internet technologies as well as an ability to meet aggressive deadlines, work independently, think creatively, evaluate usage data, and multitask is required.  Hands-on experience in Internet search engine business and/or online advertisement business is highly desirable.  An MBA degree is preferred.
