Position Title: Product Marketing Manager-Mainframe Products

Position Status: Full-Time Regular

Responsibilities:
Build targeted business plans / go-to-market plans for products
2> Develop product positioning and messaging.
3> Coordinate product launches
4> Attend customer/prospect meetings to garner understanding of:
a. How customers use our products
b. What problems they face
c. What benefits they see from our products
5> Act as a product evangelist at industry and customer events
6> Establish and publicize ?use-cases? and proof points. The deliverable from this work is Web content, case studies and collateral and potentially training.
7> Develop collateral / web content
8 > Conduct & coordinate product training
9 > Monitor and post to internal and external forums
10> Work collaboratively with Program Management, Marketing Programs, and Marketing Communications & PR.



Qualifications:
Three or more years experience in product marketing, business & marketing planning
2> Must have technical fluency in mainframe technologies.
3> Understanding of trends that impact and inhibit adoption of new technologies.
4> Knowledge and understanding of DataDirect?s products, how our customers use them, and the markets in which they compete.
5> Strong written and verbal communications skills.
6> Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
7> Ability to work directly with customers and with Sales.
8> Project management skills.
9> Strong time management skills.
10> Bachelors degree

1> Experience working with DataDirect customers.
2> Detailed understanding of the Shadow products/business
3> Public speaking experience.
4> Business planning experience.
