Product Marketing Manager - S

Position Description:

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: Manage business development activities for AMD Server and Workstation processor business division for assigned strategic customers.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Technical BS degree and 8+ years experience desired, MBA a plus. Experience in marketing high technology products to customers desired, with a good understanding of server and workstation market dynamics, design, and market trends. Ability to work with large sales organizations and present to executive level audiences. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written required. Experience in marketing to the server and workstation OEMs would be a plus.

Qualifications:

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Support AMD sales and regional marketing organizations in the design-win process for AMD server and workstation processors products. Communicate AMD server and workstation roadmaps, features/benefits, competitive positioning and create/deliver presentations to OEM and channel customer management. Identify new trends and opportunities, and help specify new product requiremetns with internal sales, marketing, program management and engineering teams. Assist in business plan and forecast development, and identify, track, and drive opportunities and issue resolution to exceed plan.
