Product Marketing Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Must understand and be willing to demonstrate and mentor ARC?s values of Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, Cost-Effectiveness, and Excellence.

? Work collaboratively with all business lines and product managers to develop and implement marketing plans for the ARC product suite.

? Prepare and evaluate marketing strategies and programs for a product or product line.

? Develop marketing project plans associated with the various marketing plans developed, and coordinate simultaneous product marketing plans.

? Work closely with product managers to develop and implement product promotion plans and launch plans.

? Evaluate product performance to help develop and update company/marketing goals and objectives.

? Assist in developing marketing measurement across all product lines.

? Provide product marketing training for several internal audiences, including sales.  Advise sales team on any relevant product concerns.

? Collaboratively participate in market research and competitive analysis.

? Recommend changes to current product management framework based on market research and new trends.

? Establish and maintain strong, supportive, constructive relationships with all ARC General Managers and Product Managers.

? Actively participate in the ARC product management community, including but not limited to the Product Management Steering Committee.

? Identify and promote process improvements to help streamline the product marketing and overall marketing activities.

? Work with the Creative Services and PR/Corpcom teams to develop well-written product collateral that is supportive of the ARC corporate messaging program.

? Participate in the management and coordination of the ARC corporate marketing calendar.

 

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

? 3-5 years of experience in B2B (preferably technology, data services or financial services industries) product marketing roles.

? Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

? Knowledge of product marketing and product management best practices required.  Experience with best-practice use of marketing plans required.  Experience developing marketing plans required.

? Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.  Strong preference given to those with formal training in marketing-related writing.

? Experience with the main forms of marketing and promotional communications required:  web, email, direct mail, collateral development, tradeshow messaging.  Experience with sponsorships, speech writing and advertising helpful.  Experience with models of multi-channel marketing.

? Significant training and hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and its use in a marketing environment.  Project management certification a plus.

? Energetic, self-starter that is looking for a challenge and desires to be part of building a new product marketing program.

? BS/BA in marketing or related discipline preferred.
