Product Mgr II/Sr Prod Mgr*

As the Product Manager/Sr. Product Manager you will be responsible for development and execution of tactics that support brand objectives. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and controlling brand budgets, forecasts and expenses, and assessing the marketing mix of assigned products to evaluate cost effectiveness and results. In addition, you will have frequent interaction with senior management, marketing and sales management, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, clinical research and finance. Support worldwide market penetration efforts through frequent interactions with affiliates worldwide: sharing lessons, experiences and best practice worldwide will be part of the broader responsibilities. Other responsibilities include, facilitation of GTRC approval process and management of external agencies. Ability to utilize data tools to anticipate and respond to market challenges is a key competency

This position requires a BA/BS with a minimum of 5 - 7 years pharmaceutical industry experience with 3 - 5 years product marketing experience is required or an MBA with a minimum of 3 - 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience with 3 years product marketing experience. Advanced degree is preferred. Pharmaceutical sales and /or marketing experience preferred. International experience is a plus. Successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical ability as well as presentation skills. Candidate should also be knowledgeable in financial management systems and ad agency operations. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. Collaboration skills are critical. Significant international travel is required (30%-40%).
