We are currently inviting resumes for a Production Coordinator. The candidate for this entry-level position will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all CompUSA print advertisements.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

 

? Reviews all ads to ensure accuracy and to avoid possible lawsuits or embarrassment to the company.  Ensures that all aspects of the ad are correct, including, but not limited to dates, pricing, headlines, spelling, grammar, copyrights, and logos.

? Ensures that deadlines for each job are met.

? Collects information from Merchandising, Co-op, and Creative and compiles it together on one master proof which is then distributed for creation of the ad.

? Compiles a Page Breakout Document that lists all of the pages and their different versions for each freestanding insert. 

? Compiles a Master Version list for each freestanding insert that lists all of the different versions and what markets they go to. 

? Obtains correct information for ads including communicating with the department to ensure that each ad is presented without error.

? Maintains all documentation ? collect, organize, and archive changes and documentation on all ads and publications.

 

The professional we seek will have a Bachelor?s degree in English, Journalism, or closely related field. A working knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation is a must. PC/Mac skills are considered a plus.
