Production Coordinator/Copy Writer/Direct Mail

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skill set.  Seneca One Finance is an industry leader in specialty financial services.  We are currently looking for a copy writer with some production coordination responsibilities.  This position reports directly to the Marketing Production Manager.  As a highly detail-oriented person, you will play an integral role in the marketing department by assisting in the overall management of all marketing communications for the company.  You will possess a keen eye, able to meet deadlines, deal with a changing environment and meeting the overall company?s communications? needs. 

Responsibilities:

You will be expected to write clear, concise, technically correct copy that reflects Seneca?s style. You will make timely and routine revisions to existing marketing and sales materials. You will also have opportunities to create and revise content posted on our company websites. You will support the production staff by assisting in managing production schedules, assist with proofreading and routine editing as necessary, and participate in meetings with external vendors. You will also participate in special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

 

Required Experience

Bachelor's Degree, 2 years in an advertising agency or equivalent client-side experience. Project and client management/coordination experience working on multiple projects. Experience with printing industry: bidding, art submission, press checks, proofing. Experience with overseeing complex budgets, including invoicing and purchasing oversight. Demonstrated skill with creating and maintaining good client relationships.

Proficient with MS Office Suite. High attention to detail and organization. Keen eye on meeting deadlines. Proven ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities.

 

Preferred Experience

Working knowledge of industry-standard desktop publishing software (QuarkXPress in

particular). Copy proofing skills. Web content management. Experience with marketing financial services a plus but not required.
