Key Responsibilities:Schedule and manage the production of all direct marketing programs and associated collateral through the creative teamNegotiate with external vendors to provide best-price estimatesManage production to project estimates, ensuring profit goals are met while achieving creative specifications, customer requirements, and best cost efficienciesEnsure artwork is delivered to specification, on time and within budgetReview vendor proofs and live data signoffs to make sure jobs are produced in compliance with strict quality standardsManage and monitor vendor performance respectfully, while seeing that client demands are metResolve vendor issues in a fair and consistent mannerMeet tight deadlines while successfully executing programsMaintain budgets, create and reconcile POsProvide postal expertise, both domestic and internationalResearch external sources to provide creative formats that drive better response rates (i.e. periodically review top performers on Who?s Mailing What?) Stay abreast of technological and industry advances as related to printing, direct mail, and postal requirementsWork miracles on occasion

Skills:Minimum 5-7 years direct marketing print production experienceExcellent organization and time management skillsFlexible to work with a variety of team members and dynamic project demandsAbility to work under pressure, with energy and enthusiasmStrong problem-solving skills and issue resolutionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven track record of developing processes and internal controlsAbility to leap tall printers in a single bound
