Production Manager

We are currently looking for a Production Manager who will be responsible for bidding each project and managing the day-to-day process through all phases of production.?Must be a team player/problem solver who can constructively offer suggestions/solutions that may prevent errors on current/future projects.? Must be able to take any given project, analyze the program as well as the time necessary to see it through to completion, then schedule and work?accordingly. Must be able to alert the necessary team members in a positive and professional manner of potential delays. Must be able to multi-task, have strong follow-up skills and?provide detailed communication on each aspect of the project as it makes its way through the production process both internally and externally.

Responsibilities and Expectations:Must be able to work within tight timelines/schedules and, at the same, have the ability to: prepare project bids, generate and manage all aspects of issuing purchase orders and final client billing - including price, quantities, deliveries, cancellations, change orders and inventory prioritize projects resolve delivery, quality and quantity disputesMust be able to process a job through all phases of production requiring the ability to: review art and recognize any production issues and/or equipment/press restrictions that may applyreview copy and recognize any logic issues, incorrect ask tables or overlooked variable copycompile written, detailed data/imaging instructions into a work ordereffectively communicate with Print Vendors, Data Dept., the Imaging Center, Hand Fulfillment Dept. and Letter Shops.

Bachelor?s degree preferred along with basic understanding of Postal regulations regarding bulk mail and non-profit criteria.

This position requires standing, walking and typing.
