Promotional Events Coordinator

MarineMax has an immediate need for a Promotional Events Coordinator to come aboard! 

 

OVERVIEW:  The key responsibilities of this position include planning, organizing and conducting cruises, tours and events for MarineMax-sponsored groups; coordinating and implementing marketing, sales and advertising materials distribution activities; and monitoring pre- and post-event trends to determine their relative success.  The ideal candidate will have marine experience and a passion for water-based activities.

? Working independently to develop, coordinate, and evaluate complex projects and activities.

? Coordinating all aspects of communication for the projects or events.

? Establishing appropriate reporting systems

? Efficiently responding in a calm and effective manner to a variety of demands and projects.

? Demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills.

? Meeting established deadlines.

? Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public.

? Using office automation tools to prepare a variety of documents, reports and records.

 

  Must be available to work some weekends.
