Public Relations Director

As the Public Relations Director at Synygy, you will work in our world headquarters in Chester, Pennsylvania to manage Synygy?s public relations programs, which include media relations, community relations, internal communications, publication of SYNYGY magazine, and client relations.

 

As the PR Director, you will report to the Vice President, Marketing, work very closely with Synygy?s president & CEO, and manage both Synygy?s external public relations agency and members of Synygy?s internal global marketing team.

 

Key responsibilities include:

? managing media relations, announcements, and editorial placement

? developing press releases, white papers, and materials that support our marketing and sales efforts

? managing the publication of SYNYGY magazine

? finding speaking opportunities for Synygy?s executives

? developing client success stories

 

Prerequisites

The Public Relations Director must have:

q  a total of 7+ years of broad-based marketing experience at companies selling business-to-business professional services

q  at least three years of experience working in global public relations, especially in the US, India, and Eastern Europe

q  solid experience creating client success stories and working with clients to create media opportunities

q  impeccable writing skills

q  excellent verbal communications skills

q  available to work evenings and weekends on occasion

q  a BA/BS degree
