Entertainment company that distributes television programs throughout the world is currently seeking a Public Relations Manager.

POSITION PURPOSE

? Responsible for internal and external communications and promoting business units. Serve as a key contacts to local, US and worldwide trade and consumer media.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

? Write press releases and other communications material

? Plan and execute PR related events

? Execute promotion strategies as directed

? Manage internal communications

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish

? Knowledge of US Hispanic market

? Able to multitask and prioritize

? Creativity and resourcefulness

? Able to work independently

? Able to manage confidential information

EDUCATION

? Bachelor?s in Public Relations or Communications

? Master?s in Public Relations or Communications preferred

EXPERIENCE

? 5 ? 7 years PR / Communications experience

? Entertainment industry experience preferred

? Experience with press and public figures

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

? Able to travel and work weekends
