Public Relations Senior Account Executive - Consumer Practice



Manning Selvage & Lee seeks a Senior Account Executive for its Consumer Practice to temporarily (18 months) work full-time on-site for one of our top consumer clients (automotive) in the Atlanta area. As the primary communications contact for a manufacturing facility, the Senior Account Executive will work in conjunction with the client's on-site management team. The Senior AE is responsible for the execution of PR plans and the day-to-day account activities including:



Quality Network Suggestion Program Coordinator (review suggestions submitted by hourly/salaried employees and process suggestions with union partner)

Coordinate employee feedback meetings and all employee state of the business meetings

Manage the internal TV broadcast system, website, and newsletter

Coordinate community service activities

Design and implement creative advertising campaigns in coordination with local media

Plan, develop and establish communications packets for workforce

Gather and interpret data for the Global Employee Census and Communications Effectiveness Survey

Handle special assignments, investigations and confidential reports

Prepare letters, articles, speeches, and presentations for the plant manager and plant staff

Assist is training, development and evaluation of employees

Align the clients corporate messaging with local external media





The ideal candidate must have an undergraduate college degree and a minimum of 4 years experience in Public Relations in an agency or corporate/in-house (experience with automotive and/or manufacturing clients is a plus). Solid media relations,writing and interpersonal skills are essential to this position.
