Publications Specialist

SUMMARY:????????????? The?Publications?Specialist?will be responsible for the design, layout and printing of the firm?s collateral marketing materials.?? Primary responsibilities include:? production of client newsletters (including layout, editing, proof reading and printing); designing and producing sponsorship advertisements, partner announcements, seminar brochures, invitations, practice area materials, firm alumni directory, team booklets, as well other marketing and promotional materials, and other duties as assigned.? An eye for detail and the ability to produce error-free work is required.

DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES:

??????????? Document Production:

???????? Handle the production of a dozen client newsletters from start to finish.? Liaise with attorney-editors, develop production schedules, layout and design newsletters using Adobe InDesign, coordinate review/proofing process, format for printing and electronic distribution.

???????? Assist in the development of templates for sponsorship advertisements, partner announcements, seminar brochures, invitations, practice area materials, alumni directory, team booklets as well other marketing and promotional materials.? Utilize templates to create materials.

???????? Design and produce attorney article reprints.

???????? Coordinate with vendors the design and printing of marketing and promotional materials.

???????? Respond to and keep track of firm logo requests.

???????? Design presentations, newsletters, timelines, brochures, pamphlets, flowcharts, briefs and covers.

???????? Maintain files of all printed collateral materials.

???????? Other duties as assigned.?

????? ??????????Provide administrative assistance as needed.

???????Special projects and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:??????????? College degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:?????????3-5 years of professional experience required.? Prior law firm experience is a plus.? Fluency in Adobe CS (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.

?SKILLS:????????????????????Ability to work with firm attorneys, support staff and administrative staff?is essential.?Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple?projects and deadlines.? Must be extremely detail-oriented and a team?player.
