Publicist - Tooth & Nail Records

Tooth and Nail Records, an independent music label headquartered in Seattle, Washington, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Publicist.

This position exists to direct a comprehensive scope of publicity activities in support of the label?s artists.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 Drive traditional publicity placement in traditional media outlets (i.e. Television, print, online, talk radio)Manage multiple media campaigns as well as a team of independent publicists ensuring overall goals for campaigns are achievedEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts.Create traditional press kits for artists and tours which includes writing press releases, managing photo opportunities, maintaining and coordination all current bios.Organize publicity events, special artist appearances, press conferences and media interviewsPromote current videos to all media outlets (MTV, FUSE, etc?)



Required Skills:

Ideal candidates will have extensive publicity experience (music industry publicity experience preferred) and a working database of industry contacts that would include relationships with Fuse, MTV, Late Night TV music directors and current independent publicists.  Ideal candidates will also have, though not required, a Bachelor?s degree in a related field.
