Job Summary: To research and provide analysis to provide an understanding of existing customers as well as prospects. To produce regular analyses and summaries to facilitate new product development and the growth of existing products. Manage research projects for the business units.
May have supervisory responsibilities.

Primary Duties:
1. Monitors performance of statistical models and evaluates marketing efforts through slice reports and summary reports.
2. Produces slices reports and summaries, which report profit indicators by segment, which are discussed with the Business Unit to aid decisions.
3. Produces ad hoc reports to provide detailed analysis of marketing efforts to various Business Units and other departments.
4. Develops and maintains computer programs to accomplish Customer Analytics responsibilities, applying knowledge of programming techniques and various computer systems.
5. Identifies research objectives, conducts analysis, summarizes results, presents findings and makes recommendations based upon findings.
6. Develops Customer Analytics and segmentation procedures for new markets and products.
7.Uses internal customer database with solicitation files to create diagnostics such as response and lapse behavior, demographic and segment analysis, and contact strategy.
8. Consults and coordinates with Business partner, other AEGON Business Units.
9. Maintains a working knowledge of appropriate Business Units files in order to assure all data and information is complete and up to date.
10. Produces analysis as a base for suppression.
11. Communicates findings and results from analyses to non-technical audience to support market planning and to make marketing recommendations.
12. May provide leadership, motivate and perform management functions for employees who may report to the position, including selection, performance management, employee development, work assignment and prioritization, oversight/supervision, salary administration and communications.


Experience & Education:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
? 3+ years related work experience
? Strong analytical skills, 3+ years SAS programming experience
? Strong communication and forecasting skills.
Desired Requirements:
? Familiarity with insurance practices and principles
? Master?s in an analytical field or equivalent experience
? Supervisory experience
