RESEARCH ANALYST

We currently have an opportunity available in our Weymouth office for a Research Analyst. This is a great opportunity for long-term growth in the high tech market research field.  Primary responsibilities include:

 

? Respond to customer inquiries

? Conduct primary and secondary research in support of research projects and customer requirements

? Collect, aggregate, and analyze vendor and product information

? Write analysis reports, white papers, and research reports

? Provide editorial and publishing services for the team

? Present findings to customers and at industry events and conferences

? Assist in the sales process, including meeting with prospective clients and assisting in proposal generation

 

The ideal candidate possesses a college degree and a minimum of 2 years? experience working for a software vendor in a competitive intelligence, research, product marketing, or marketing communications capacity. Ideally, the experience will be with a vendor within one of the following industry segments: document management, content management, digital asset management, collaboration, portals, categorization engines, search technologies, multi-channel publishing, XML technologies, or digital rights management.

 

Required skills include strong written and oral communication skills; good Internet research capabilities; team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently; the ability to successfully produce high quality reports and newsletters while consistently meeting deadlines; and strong computer skills (MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
