Purpose/Objective

 

? Manage staff of 10-12 exempt associates in multiple locations within a region

? Measure and monitor the quality of employee meetings to FIRSCO participants in region

? Deliver 3-5 meeting days a month to assess client trends, participant needs and meeting effectiveness

? Manage operational efficiencies of meeting logistics for team and local CECS

? Lead, locally, the promotion and positioning of alternative meeting delivery mediums – Web Workshops and self-paced e-Learning.

? Develop regional reporting to communicate team performance measures and process improvements

 

Major Responsibilities

 

People Management (40%):

  Direct and lead staff located in 1-3 different locations within their region.  Develop staff through one-on-ones, career development and performance management discussions.  Assess Investment Education Consultants capabilities on a quarterly basis with on-site visits. Hire, motivate, and retain associates.  Resolve HR issues at individual and team level.

 

Relationship Management (25%):

  Drive linkage of employee meeting group objectives with Core and Large Plan business segment partners in local site.  Collect and analyze segment input and feedback regarding general/local meeting group performance.  Communicate periodic updates to segments on meeting initiatives, volumes and new products. Report to senior management on critical trends or service interruptions.  Manage client expectations and feedback regarding meeting delivery as part of communications team.  Deliver presentations on employee meeting content, goals and process to prospects in pre-sale presentations.  Direct communication consultants to appropriate responses to service issues, escalated operational concerns and complex campaigns. 

 

Operational Effectiveness (20%)

Track and report cost and performance measurement trends related to delivery of employee  meetings at a regional level.  Manage costs of several cost centers with a budget of over $500k.  Report on critical performance measures for region-call reports, T&E, web workshop delivery, etc.  Lead analysis of travel and airline industry news and trends and provide recommendations for addressing critical updates in travel procedures and policies. 

 

 

Process Improvement (15%):

  Create and develop process improvement initiatives.  Drive delivery of modifications in meeting group delivery and operations.  Monitor and formally report on regional process improvement campaigns (reduce costs, improve meeting campaigns).  Utilize expertise of individual investment consultants to improve quality of meeting delivery. Lead initiatives to respond to participant survey results indicating areas for improvement.

? Degree or equivalent experience

? Minimum of 7+ years business experience

? Minimum of 5+ years of prior management experience
