J.D. Power and Associates is a global marketing information firm that conducts independent and unbiased surveys of customer satisfaction, product quality and buyer behavior. Today, the firm's services include industry-wide syndicated studies; proprietary (commissioned) tracking studies; media studies; forecasting; and training services, as well as business operations analyses, and consultancies on customer satisfaction trends.

 

We are currently seeking a Research Manager, Dynamic Research Services, in Westlake Village, CA.

 

Key Goals of this Position:Manage Flexible Work Team (FWT) responsible for Customer Satisfaction.  Design, manage and monitor research practices used in the FWT.Work with Client Solutions Group to develop new opportunities and nurture existing relationshipsCompose study methodologies and collect pricing for responses to RFP/RFQs.Contract vendors to supplement primary research with follow-up activitiesPerform ad hoc analysis on tracking study dataCompose three added value white papers per yearProvide on the job training for junior associatesContinually grow the FWT and maintain a favorable profit margin



Education/Experience Required: Four-year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceFour or more years of related work experienceStrong interpersonal skillsStrong leadership skillsStrong organizational skills including the ability to multi-taskTeam orientation, experience in a supervisory roleStrong client focusStrong research related experience
