Job Description:
SMG Research Supervisor



Responsibilities



Support SMG Research Director and SMG research and planning teams around the world, particularly where there are minimal research resources in local market.



1. SMG projects - project manage SMG centrally funded studies



2. Client support - generally SMG clients and SMG New Biz - (project manage CI projects) and help with research backup (initiation, field, analysis, general advice) as needed



3. Vendor Relationships - support quality management of existing and future research vendors



4. SMG tools - in consumer insight area - develop understanding and familiarity with SMG CI tools in order to provide quality control and advice



5. MCA tech support. Thoroughly learn MCA system.

a. Provide basic training for planning teams & client when necessary

b. Liaison for Integration & SMG for Integration's updates, improvements and changes.

c. Communicate to the organization about Integration updates and changes

d. Advise and participate in development of MCA tool with SMG specific needs in mind



Requirements



Experience in many facets of primary consumer research, qualitative and quantitative



1. Experience setting up, managing and summarizing the results of focus groups, surveys and working with vendors who do this



a. Moderator experience a plus



2. Experience in designing, managing and analyzing a variety of quantitative forms of survey research

a. Familiarity with online research highly desirable



3. Media planning background a significant plus



4. Skilled in the use of MS Office tools

a. Familiarity with SPSS a plus



5. Strong writing skills



6. Comfortable making presentations
