JOB DESCRIPTION
Implements marketing initiatives including collateral creation, marketing communications (email, web, and print), product launches, tradeshow assistance, and industry research to provide EPSON FAR group target market penetration resulting in sales and brand loyalty. Collaborates with Applications Engineering, Sales, Admin, Service and Product Development departments.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotions ImplementationAssists in the development and implementation of promotional programs Provides analysis and reporting on promotional effectiveness Implements direct marketing activities (postcard, email, banner ads), print and web based ad campaigns, and other marketing activities to increase lead counts and drive sales Assists with industry trade show activities

Website ImplementationProvides analysis and reporting on website operational statistics and makes recommendations for enhancements (e.g., number of page views, user behavior patterns, etc.) Ensures the timely website product launches and discontinuations for associated product lines Contributes to the development and implementation of new site features to promote targeted products or programs Monitors web based advertising including (company listings, catalogs, keyword advertising programs, etc)

Collateral CreationAssists in the creation of collateral materials including white papers, industry articles, press releases, spec sheets, etc.

ResearchConducts competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned product(s) Conducts research into new potential markets for automation type productsRelationships Builds strong relationships with peers and Managers to best meet company goals and objectives 

JOB QUALIFICATIONSCompletion of an undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.)  or equivalent 2-5 years in a marketing role (Marcomm Communications background is highly preferred) Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; writing skills are highly desired Creativity, self driven abilities and attention to detail are a must Team oriented with a sense of urgency Ability to utilize Microsoft applications on an intermediate to advance level Must be able to travel occasionally (7-8 trade shows per year)
