The Creative Editor identifies keywords, optimal landing pages, and creates ad copy for client?s online Search Engine Marketing campaigns (i.e. Google, Yahoo!, MSN). The Creative Editor will work closely with our Account Management team and directly with clients to coordinate and execute optimization of campaigns. The Creative Editor must be analytical, creative and get results. The Creative Editor is also responsible for developing original 'organic' online content (articles, etc.) on a variety of topics, as related to client interests and industries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

? Highly creative in developing keywords, titles and descriptions to improve the performance of a campaign.

? Work closely with our Account Management team and directly with clients to coordinate and execute optimization of campaigns.

? Ability to compose ad copy on demand.

? Ability to create original content, and to conduct independent research to develop said content.

? Responsible for analyzing, recommending and implementing editorial improvements to meet client online search marketing campaign objectives.

? Ability to move quickly on optimization requests.

? Willingness to assist in all work types as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

? Bachelors in English or Communications preferred.

? Proven writing and communication excellence. Editorial experience in an online, magazine, book or other publishing environment is a plus.

? 2+ years Search Engine Marketing a plus.

? 2 years of online client/account services experience.

? 2 years of campaign development and implementation.

? Great attention to detail.

? Intuitive/creative thinker.

? Outstanding computer skills, including solid knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel)

? Ability to function independently and as part of a team.

? Adaptability to a changing environment quickly and easily.

? Manage multiple assignments and prioritize work while meeting deadlines.

? Resolve complex editorial challenges in a professional and timely manner.

? Professional demeanor.
