Global leader in internet media and market research is looking for a market researcher to conduct sales and account management to the financial services vertical.


Responsibilities:

? Serve as the primary interface for all clients/prospects within the financial services vertical.
? The position is focused on meeting targets related to sales, new client acquisition, client retention, cross-selling and client satisfaction.
? Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts, and prospect for new clients within a defined vertical territory.
? Develop long-term relationships with clients to learn the nuances of their businesses, understand their needs and identify additional revenue opportunities.
? Continually cross-sell additional products to client base.
? Prospect for new clients within a defined geographical or vertical territory.
? Manage all available internal resources to ensure that revenue and customer expectations are met.
? Stay knowledgeable of all new and existing product offerings so that they are presented in an effective manner to the market.
? Coordinate client servicing with assigned Client Service Representative
? Work with custom and analytics team to sell and prepare custom analyses for clients.
? Engage in account planning on targeted accounts.
? Command an in-depth understanding of the media and market research industry, research practices and applications, and overall market trends.
? Must be able to work well as team player, demonstrate good time/priority management skills, and display professional/positive attitude at all times.

 

Requirements:

? 3-5 years research sales/account management experience.
? Knowledge of the financial services business.
? Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
? Understanding of the media/market research industry.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills.
? B.A./B.S. or equivalent
