Senior Analyst, Marketing Research
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Marketing Research for our Parsippany, NJ location. In this position, you will be responsible for developing the market research plan and providing the product team with data and analyses to drive strategic and tactical business decisions. You will also track, analyze, and report on performance and its drivers, as well as identify key opportunities for growth. You will research and conduct analyses to identify opportunities to influence future sales of in-line products and make recommendations based on findings.

Duties and Responsibilities: As Senior Analyst, Marketing Research, your primary responsibilities will be to manage and supervise the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative marketing research, as well as analyze the results of marketing research studies in order to provide actionable recommendations to internal customers. In this role, you will integrate marketing research into marketing plans, POA meetings and other strategic decisions You will design, implement, and analyze in-house marketing research projects, including survey design and field work. Additional responsibilities include formulating and negotiating contact agreements with marketing research vendors, proactively identifying business needs and providing competitive intelligence via daily research and attendance at national medical conferences. You will also be accountable for report writing, presentations, accurate record keeping and developing and maintaining the research plan and budget for the product team. Up to 30% travel is a condition of this position.

Education and Experience: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree; MBA is preferred. Candidates will also have one of the following: 3-5 years experience in market research, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry; an MBA with at least two years of market research experience; or one year of market research experience and three years of pharmaceutical sales experience. The ability to read, analyze, and incorporate secondary data, as well as the ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office and analyze data tabulations is required. Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong analytical skills are musts.
