Develop consumer-centric local market assortment strategies through clustering analysis of point-of-sales data.



Essential Skills:

Perform clustering analysis, analyzing store groups to describe the consumer base and develop local market strategies; synthesize information into meaningful conclusions and tactical recommendations; communicate recommendations to Purchasing organization, providing recommendations to grow the business in the areas of assortment, competitive assessment, consumer behavior and preferences, pricing and promotion; present results to Purchasing and upper management.



Qualifications:

BS degree in Math, Statistics, Economics or Business-related field; excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills; strong project and time management skills; extensive MS Access and Excel knowledge is necessary; SAS and/or SPSS experience, and working knowledge of statistical applications in retail and marketing are desired; 1-3 years experience in retail, consumer package goods or consulting desired.
