Senior Corporate Communications Manager

Job Description:
The fast paced and dynamic communications department at Red Hat is looking for a well-spoken, seasoned communications professional to support Red Hat's mission of brand relevance. The right individual will possess great energy and poise as well as experience working with national press and analysts. Background in technology communications is a plus, ability to learn on the fly and adapt easily is a must.

Candidates should be prepared to provide several examples of successes in communications. Strong written and verbal skills are required.

The primary purpose of this role will be to work with team members to plan and execute outreach strategies with the press and analyst communities. Other day-to-day responsibilities will include: Leading partner public relations activities Communicating company strategy to press and analyst communities Shaping Red Hat messaging and news Supporting international public relations teams

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree or higher7-10 years experience in marketing communications, public relations or corporate communicationsPrevious experience working for or working with a technology company strongly preferredExperience working with national pressAbility and drive to create major news stories for Red HatProven success in securing significant coverage in the press
