Job Description:  Senior Designer/Art Director

Griffin Bodi & Krause is a full service advertising agency offering general advertising, direct marketing, interactive, design, broadcast production, public relations and more.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Designer/Art Director with 5+ years background in marketing and/or advertising. Interactive experience in an agency environment is a plus but not a requirement. You will have an opportunity to be a part of a truly talented team of account leaders, strategists, and creatives on a variety of client challenges.

The Senior Designer/Art Director will have the following areas of responsibility:Management of multiple projects from concept through completion for print, direct mail, Internet, company collateral, high-end/luxury print collateral projects including  brochures 10+ pages, dimensional direct mail, promotions, customer programs and experiential marketing.Present creative concepts and project status reports to the Creative Director and VP, Creative Services.Participating in and contributing to new business pitches, presenting layouts and storyboards to Creative Director and VP, Creative Services.Direct and oversee work of future in-house staff of designers, production artists, and interns.

In a nutshell the summary of talents and experience should read something like this:  Experience working on a broad spectrum of accounts; both consumer and business-to-business advertising.  Superlative conceptual skills, art direction and design talents.  Adepts at solving complex marketing issues.  Proficient in creating fresh, memorable, unique campaigns.  Persuasive presenter.  Thrives on working in a collaborative team environment.  Proficient in Quark Press, In Design, Illustrator and Photoshop.  Highly enthusiastic, self disciplined, self-motivated and innovative thinker.  Solid background designing and managing multiple projects from concept to print with minimal or no supervision. Photo art direction experience.
