Essential Skills:

Healthcare: Participate in requirements review, design development and ongoing production support of EDI transactions and associated application interfaces for Walgreens Health Services (WHS), Rx Purchasing and Rx Strategy, and any other associated business areas. This includes, but is not limited to functionality supporting Florida Pedigree legislation (and developing pedigree requirements for additional states), and exchange of patient data covered by Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Agentrics: Participate in requirements review and design development for Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) and Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) offerings, representing Walgreens interests to Agentrics project advisory groups. Coordinate migration of XML message monitoring and support to EDI Services group (from EDI Development), insuring adequate documentation of processing, monitoring and support tools (via webMethods) as well as team training. Assume primary responsibility for ongoing support of Agentrics program messages.
General: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current X.12 and XML standards as relates to Walgreens business initiatives, and insure Walgreens ongoing compliance with standards guidelines and processing conventions. Participate in standards development process via participation in standards committees such as GS1 US GSMP or GCI.




Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Walgreens business and system functionality (primarily supply chain related) or similar retail experience. Understanding of EDI/B2B eBusiness concepts and processing flow including X.12 and XML standards, translation & communication software, and widely available third party functionality. Familiarity with standards organizations, primarily GS1 US, and their functions, i.e., standards review and approval processes. Proficiency with standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). High level skills in the following areas: process analysis, organization and reporting (i.e., planning & status), presentation, written and verbal communication. Bachelor?s degree preferred.
