Senior Market Analyst

The Roper Consulting practice of GfK NOP, a premier global research firm, has an outstanding opportunity for a mid-level Research Manager in our NYC office.  In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of customer relations for projects in conjunction with the Sr. Account Director. This includes project design, query handling (internal and external) and overall client satisfaction.  Excellent writing skills are a prerequisite for the successful candidate.

 

Specific ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present client analytical reportsManage client portfolio (including renewals)Perform as member of client consulting teamIncrease client sales by initiating marketing of GfK Roper Consulting products and services to clientsManage analytical teamProvide more senior-level analytical and consulting services to clients including ad hoc requests

 

Experience and Skills

 BA, BS is required.  A strong liberal arts background in Sociology, Communications, Market Research, or Public Policy is preferred. 4-6  years experience in market or survey research Ability to read and interpret data tabsAbility to create charts/presentations using Excel, Word and PowerPointAbility to run team meetingsAbility to use advanced applicationsMid-level development as a ?category expert?Ability to ?manage? smaller client accountsPresentation skillsAbility to manager project budgetsStrong interpersonal, communication skillsStrong mid-level marketing research skills
