Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this Rewards Analyst role should demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.




Overview

This role is responsible for providing analytical support to Portfolio Marketing to help business partners achieve volume, usage, and profitability goals. Supports Marketing Managers in the design and execution of promotional campaigns. Analyzes campaign performance and makes strategic recommendations to improve efficiencies. Consults with Business Partners in strategy development.





Role Responsibilities


?Collaborates with Rewards Marketing, Finance, and Business Technology to analyze effectiveness of Rewards initiatives.

?Monitors, explains, and forecasts key financial metrics as it relates to card member loyalty.

?Develops reporting to monitor and explain trends.

?Partners with Rewards reporting analyst to implement ?production? versions of adhoc reports.

?Efficiently extracts, consolidates, and prepares data from multiple source systems using strong SAS, SQL, and Excel.



SKILLS
Required:
?A Master?s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, business, computer sciences, or other heavily quantitative degree is a must.

?Experience with predictive modeling and econometric time series forecasting and financial experience, preferably in the credit card industry.

?3+ years professional experience, with a strong background in data and financial analysis.


?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

?Candidate must have the ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate outstanding problem solving and decision making skills.

?Extensive experience with SAS software in UNIX and PC environments is a must.

?Strong Excel skills required.

?Statistical modeling experience necessary.



Desired:
? SQL experience preferred.

?Experience with Loyalty marketing programs and Teradata a plus.
