We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Director to add to our growing company who has the ability to create a marketing department from the bottom up. The Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Director is responsible for directing and coordinating all marketing activities for NVC Logistics Group. This includes the development of marketing strategies and the evaluation of customer research, market conditions and competitor data. Oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional staff, agencies and activities.

 

The Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Director will work closely with Senior Management and a dynamic cross-functional team of sales professionals to develop marketing objectives.

 

Accountabilities & Essential Functions

Marketing Plan - Identify trends to maximize effectiveness of marketing efforts: research targeted markets and evaluate strategies to identify potential opportunities and customers. Develops marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and implements marketing plan changes as needed.

Management Responsibility - Manage and prioritize day-to-day department functions in order to achieve corporate goals. These activities include public relations, advertising, market research, business development, branding, website management, e-commerce marketing and product development.

Communication and Sales - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, cohesive communication of the NVC brand and positioning. Find new opportunity identification for the NVC brand, sales initiatives, and goals.

Analysis - Must perform analysis of competitive activity, environmental factors, and industry trends.

Budget Control - Adherence to P & L responsibilities.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

- A Marketing Degree or a Bachelor?s Degree in a technical discipline

- 8+ years marketing experience including 2+ years staff management experience

- Proven ability to translate concepts and ideas into cost-effective and profitable marketing plans

- In-depth e-commerce marketing experience with a focus on marketing services

- Strong project management and analytic skills

- Strong interpersonal skills ? readily able to interact with clients as well as all levels of management and staff

- Solid understanding of Category and Performance Management

- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office products

- Willing to travel

- Self motivated and directed ? able to work alone or as a member of a team

- Industry experience a plus but not required

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills both (verbal and written) as well as excellent computer skills along with high-energy. Eight (8) plus years experience working in a marketing management position.
