Job Description

This position offers the opportunity for an experienced product manager to manage the central monitoring station that is most widely deployed in hospitals around the world and to directly impact the aggressive growth goals of an extremely successful business within Philips Medical Systems. An in-depth understanding of the low end monitoring market with specific emphasis on networking and centralized surveillance will support a strategic market extension. It is particularly critical that a successful candidate have demonstrated ability to establish rapid credibility at all levels of the organization, as well as work cooperatively across business unit functions and business groups across the company. Although having direct responsibility patient surveillance at the low end of the market through high acuity care across our global targeted segments, a successful candidate will ensure, in cooperation with his/her colleagues, that the entire solution performance meets customer needs in a competitively differentiated fashion. The product manager owns product planning, and the lifecycle process including developing a product roadmap, investigating and documenting global customer requirements, implementing new product introductions, including channel training and ensuring appropriate end of life planning. Also included are developing of comprehensive marketing plans, which encompass market research, competitive intelligence, global segment requirements, product positioning and reference pricing. Other key responsibilities include:-Serve as the marketing representative on new product development teams-Deliver required product generation process deliverables-Support strategic sales deals

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills-5 years of product management experience or equivalent-Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively-4 year business, marketing or scientific degree, MBA preferred-High degree of initiative, integrity, and leadership-Highly developed organizational and time management skills-Healthcare industry experience either clinical or business focused-25-30% global travel required
