Job Description:
Coordinates and attends client board meetings, including ensuring proper setup, graphics and materials are present.
Coordinates and gathers information from project managers and other key staff members to write and create executive summary materials, power point presentations and supporting graphics.
Sets agendas and follows up on critical items for internal clients.
Interacts with clients to develop and implement comprehensive communication and business strategies to manage and promote understanding and support of projects to both internal and external audiences.
In conjunction with other project leadership, presents proposals and strategies to clients to help identify potential work opportunities.
Works with clients to assist in aligning community affairs and public involvement strategies and efforts with the client's overall goals and objectives.
Writes and coordinates production and distribution of community relations materials, including newsletters, media releases and direct mail.
Assists in, and may lead and or facilitate community interaction and planning meetings.
Contracts with and manages sub-consultants for public/community relations, graphic design, printed materials and other outside work when needed.
Oversees compliance with rules and laws specifically outlined by state and federal regulations and those that may be requested by clients.
Implements quality assurance/quality control procedures to ensure a high quality of work.
Oversees project processes and procedures to assure all requirements, deadlines and specifications are continually met.
Coordinates with clients to ensure program communications are in line with agency efforts.
Coordinates with other project leaders and departments in developing plans and materials for projects.
Organizes and coordinates events for team building activities
Organizes and coordinates events for external client, cities and agencies
Transportation and/or toll road knowledge/experience a plus.
May be responsible for all aspects of personnel management, as well as establishing and approving budgets.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
- Requires frequent judgment and initiative.
- At least two years of supervisory experience is required.
- May directly supervise at least three employees.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have high-degree of initiative and personal motivation.
- Must have a strong ability to build relationships and garner trust.
- Must have very strong writing and editing skills to convey technical information to various groups
- Must have strong communication skills.
-At least two years of supervisory experience is required.
-Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related area plus 6 years of experience.
