Senior Technical Write

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The candidate must have the ability to write software and hardware documents to support the Tellabs 8800 series multi-service switch-routers and next generation product suites. Additionally, the candidate will provide documentation support for OEM products as well as the Tellabs 8890 Online Help effort on an as-needed basis. Must be able to learn and research new technology and learn document control tools such as the Tellabs ECO and revision control system.



QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 10 years of experience, including 5 years as a Sr. Technical Writer. BA in English and/or BSEE and/or equivalent networking knowledge of switch and router hardware, SNMP, and CLI . The candidate must have a conceptual knowledge of switch-router hardware components, switching, routing, LAN and WAN technology.
