Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering high-value digital strategy consulting engagements to our global pharmaceutical clients and for developing, delivering, and maintaining MBC?s strategy consulting capability. 

 

Direct strategy consulting engagements across multiple clients.  Continually develop and publish strategy-oriented intellectual capital for clients and MBC.  Develop effective relationships with clients and other groups across the agency.  Lead and play an active role in new client acquisition and new business pitches. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Client Delivery

?Define scope, recommended approach, and manage execution of major strategic planning projects for clients: Design research and analytical approaches that meet engagement objectives; Integrate metric analysis to support strategy development and implementation; Analytics include ROI modeling, success metric modeling, segmentation, cost benefit analysis, gap assessments and business case rationales

?Serve as key MBC thought leader in aligning digital strategy and eMarketing transformation with a client?s broader business goals and objectives. 

?Lead thorough responses to client strategic issues.  Topics may include enterprise-wide interactive strategy, competitive assessments, technology points of view, and business case analyses. 

 

Business Development

?Extend client relationships across clients and channels into increasingly more actionable and value-added services through: Convincing clients of the value of Strategic Consulting services to their business, and Helping clients define their needs and potential solutions

?Prospect, qualify and close major Strategy & Enablement new business opportunities.  Make significant contributions to and establish relationships with prospective clients, increasing MBC?s potential for business.  Participate in or lead several new business initiatives simultaneously. 

?  Develop execute and report on new business plans in support of Strategy & Enablement and overall MBC business objectives. 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

?MBA or equivalent Masters degree required; PhD in related field/s a plus.

?8+ years of consulting experience including: In depth knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry, Business Strategy and Management, Strategic Marketing, and Interactive/Technology
