Senior Vice President of Data

This is an executive level position for a Senior Vice President to build a division from ground up.  This new division of my client, the data practice division, which is a direct marketing and marketing solutions firm, has been newly created due to the growth they have been experiencing

 

 SVP Data Practice Duties and Responsibilities

 

? The team will consist of roughly 25 employees including account managers, data analysts, list specialists, and data quality experts.  Software development, project management, modeling, and marketing support will be provided by other organizations under this person?s direction.

? Design data products built from internal and external data sources that drive solutions for our clients.  These solutions can be standalone, i.e. data quality, data enhancement; or bundled with other services.

? P&L financial responsibility of the Data Practice.

? Lead cross-functional team in developing and implementing data products including proprietary models and derived data elements.

? Research and identify external data sources to potentially bring in-house or establish partnerships.

? Build and present business cases for data purchases and new data products.

 

Qualifications

? BA/BS; MBA preferred

? Experience: 20+ years working with a variety of third-party data sources supporting direct/database marketing services.

? Proven success managing and running all operational aspects of a business including building and selling data products.

 

There will be relocation offered for this position, as long as you have the direct mail/marketing industry experience.
