Senior Web Designer

Senior Web Designer who can design web sites from beginning to end.

Produce the design and help execute high-quality information products that delight customers and entice advertisers, produce strong revenue and profits and enhances the Company?s brand name.

Assist in defining, creating, developing, and coordinating the production of design for all products. Produce work for marketing department with some support for the editorial and advertising departments. Designs will distinguish products from others on the market and secure a new brand name in the electronic market.

Maintain standards of design for graphic, print, and electronic products and act as part of the design team, working closely with other designers on staff, the Chief Designer and outside contractors.

Demonstrate a strong knowledge of design and interface, desktop publishing, print, and electronic design, online information delivery and other new publishing technologies.

Work with design, editorial, technical teams to develop products and launch them successfully.

Minimum 5 years experience and training in design, graphics, photography, video and journalism and/or extensive use of personal computers and peripherals, software, online services and multimedia development. Bachelor?s degree; advanced degree preferred.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, hectic, high-pressured, evolving environment. Will require extraordinary job commitment. Long days may be required. Position may require weekend work .

Skills in computer and print design, photography, graphics, multimedia personal computer and Macintosh use, scanner and other peripherals use, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, MacroMedia Director, QuarkXpress, PageMaker, Freehand, and limited programming preferred.
