Scope of Job:
This position will be responsible for managing, developing, executing, facilitating and planning all facets of internal communications for the bank?s Services Business Unit in North America, which includes Operations, Facilities Management, Information Technology, and Human Resources. This position will report to the Head of Communication for BU North America. Specifically, the Services Internal Communication Advisor will be charged with and responsible for:
Driving internal communications focused on strategy, culture, engagement, and performance in close alignment with the Services? Management Team and the head of Communications.
Serve as the primary point of contact to the Services? management team to ensure alignment of communication efforts in accordance with business objectives.
Work closely with corporate public relations, internal communications and brand management to ensure efforts are aligned with corporate strategy, standards, and priorities.
Serve as the interface/liaison with the Global Services Communications team who coordinates cross business unit and regional communication programs to ensure execution is aligned with the global strategy.
Developing, organizing, streamlining, and consolidating communication?including processes, channels, messages, and vehicles both within the Services group and to internal client partners and end users.
Create, manage, and update Intranet content for the Services group on both on the North American and Global sites.
Building an open and dynamic communication environment through assessment, research, and implementation of best practices designed to improve information flow.
Writing, crafting, and developing internal announcements and messages.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine the needs of the client and develop communication plans, strategies and tactics to help achieve business objectives. Write proposals according to findings and needs analyses to build agreement on the solution and work.
Write communication plans according to the agreed proposal, closely managing the mission, assumptions, risks and dependencies of all projects (i.e., set expectations).
Manage the production and delivery of all communication items. This includes all things owned by Internal Communications, deliverables assigned to another team member, as well as all client responsibilities.
Manage (i.e., work with internal brand management) use of the brand and tagline, and adhere to and ensure the proper employment of writing guidelines and brand standards.
Client service?advisory and execution
Collaboration and partnership across marketing and communications
Thought leadership and idea generation
Ownership of communication dissemination process
Qualifications:
4 to 6 years experience with a solid understanding in employee communicationSuccess in the implementation of effective communication campaigns Strong execution skills ? ability to get things down and move initiatives forward by building buy-in and agreement with key stakeholders. Experience in both an advisory and execution roles, but primarily in execution. Ability to work in a complex, matrixed, and hierarchal organization
